What Dog Training classes do I need?

How to choose the right dog training class

Puppy Parties: These are booked as individual sessions and are for puppies aged between 8 and 12 weeks old. Pups should have had their first vaccination to attend and must not have had Kennel Cough vaccine within a week of attending. Limited class size.

Class aims: 

  • To build confidence in puppy and owner
  • To help pups learn how to be relaxed and calm
  • To help teach puppies that their owner is more important than anything else
  • To help teach pups to cope with body examinations
  • To provide safe socialisation opportunities
  • To help puppies learn how to cope with the frustrations of being on a lead in the presence of other puppies and people

 

Puppy Classes: These are booked as a six weeks course with limited class sizes. Your puppy should be under the age of 20 weeks at the start of the course. 

Class aims:

Novice Classes: These are booked as a six weeks course with limited class sizes. There is no age limit in this class. But puppies under the age of 20 weeks should attend the Puppy Class. 

Class aims:

Intermediate Classes: These are booked as a six weeks course with limited class sizes. There is no age limit with this class.

Class aims:

Advanced classes: These are booked as a six weeks course with limited class sizes. There is no age limit with this class.

We add in other activities such as fun and games agility in our classes above puppy level to increase opportunities for self control learning in a fun way.
