20/01/15. It is very cold out at the moment. Please be aware that grit to treat ice contains anti freeze. Do make sure you wash your dog's paws after walking on grit as if they lick their paws this could lead to poisoning. Also many people think that because they have fur coats dogs don't feel the cold. In fact they do. Their fur adapts to living conditions so if they live indoors in the warm they have thinner coats. Therefore, it is possible for your dog to get cold in the winter. There are many kinds of dog coats available. Lily wears the Equafleece. This is a great product as it's quite easy to put on and take off. IT also helps dogs to keep dry or even helps to dry off wet dogs. Worth every penny!
