Information for vets

As at 2022 I have been in practice as a dog behaviourist for 18 years. I have worked on veterinary referral all this time. I hold a M.Res with distinction (Masters in Research Science in Dog Cognition and Forensic Psychology), a B.Sc in Applied Animal Behaviour (2:1) so my qualifications are specific to animal behaviour but I majored in dogs and cats. I also hold an advanced diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour and Training - Dip CABT (Coape).

I am a registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist with DEFRA recognised regulator ABTC (Animal Behaviour and Trainers Council), a full member of the APBC (Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors), and a full member of TCBTS (The Canine Behaviour and Training Society) where I am registered as an Animal Training Instructor with the ABTC.

I deal with all aspects of dog behaviour problems. My degree covered multiple species but I consider myself only truly knowledgeable about dogs. I specialise in puppy socialisation, body language and in working with inter dog aggression and anxiety disorders.

Please find attached my Vet referral form. I would be most grateful if you could complete this for me with relevant medical history when referring clients to me so that I have a full background including any blood tests and results etc.

I cover the following areas and more:

Broadstone, Creekmore, Oakdale, Poole, Lilliput, Sandbanks, Canford, Canford Heath, Wimborne, Ferndown, West Moors, Ringwood, Christchurch, Mudeford, New MIlton, Alderholt, Fordingbridge, Verwood, Three Legged Cross and more.

I am happy to provide continuing professional development for veterinary practices in aspects of behaviour as well as to help to train up staff to run behaviourally aware puppy parties. Please contact me via e mail with your requirements so that I can Taylor a package for your clinic.
