NEW COURSES! Short courses master classes to meet your specific needs!

Puppy Club

We are pleased to announce "puppy club". This is one session in the Three Cross Vet Surgery's field where pups can meet other pups in a safe and realistic environment. We are able to acclimatise pups to liv estock in adjoining fields, do meeting and greeting and heel walking and recall. This is open to all  puppies in existing puppy classes and is just £7.00 for the session. Puppy club is run regularly, check services prices and dates for details of the next class.

Recall

Recall in classes does not meet your needs as the main reason your dog doesn't come back is because he is enjoying the distractions he has outdoors. We teach you how to manage recall problems and how to encourage your dog to come back when called. For some three weeks will meet your needs and problem solved, for some it will give you the skills to contiue to train your wayward dog to come back when called. To check when the next class is being run look at services prices and dates.

Display team

Please visit the Colehill Country Fair at St Michaels Middle School on Sunday 15th August where some of our dogs and handlers will be doing a short display. If you would like to join the display team we are always happy to have new members!

Thanks for all who helped to participate in the study about the affects of human personality on dog training?

Thanks to all who have participated in this important dog study. I can now tell you more about this. The study is entitled "Does Human Personality Influence a Dog's Ability to Learn a Novel  Training Task?" In fact there does appear to be a relationship between personality and learning in dogs. Notably people scoring high in the "Openness" personality dimension are able to trian their dogs more quickly. There was a tendency for people who were highly extrovert and those scoring highly in neuroticism to take longer to train their dogs. After the dissertation has been marked I will post it on this site. Watch this space.

New classes in the Sandbanks area.

We are so excited that we have been able to find a great venue in Lilliput which is going to allow us to run our puppy and dog training classes.  We have been looking for a venue in this area for a few years. Many of our customers come from the Poole area so we are thrilled to be able to take our classes out to you. These classes will start in the new year and will be held on friday mornings. So please let us know if you would like to register.
